Committee Scope

The purpose of the Select Committee on the Library Levy is to review, discuss, and vote on the proposed Seattle Public Library’s Levy renewal legislation, for placement on the August 2026 Primary ballot. This new Levy Ordinance would replace the expiring 2019 SPL Levy (Ordinance 125809).

Meeting Dates

The Select Committee will meet at City Hall, Council Chambers, unless noted otherwise. The established meeting dates and times are listed below and additional meetings will be scheduled as needed.

Meet the Council
