Creative Placemaking

We advance arts-based community development to shape and sustain places where Seattle’s creative community thrives by centering equity and preventing displacement of artists and communities.

Our Creative Placemaking division brings together work in cultural space, cultural districts, place-based arts activations, and the creative economy by supporting both placemaking and placekeeping.

Through cross-sector partnerships, we work alongside communities to integrate arts and culture to advance local planning, foster community development, and support cultural anchors that help communities remain rooted in place.
